The Philadelphia Matriarch Launch!

Happy Heavenly Birthday, Mom!

Today, I have the privilege of honoring you in the most fitting way I can imagine—by releasing The Philadelphia Matriarch into the world on your birthday.

This isn’t just Nana’s story—it’s yours, too. I can still picture you at the kitchen table, fingers curled around a steaming mug of coffee, your eyes soft as you shared fragments of our family’s history.

Sometimes your voice would drop to a whisper, as if the memories were fragile things that might break if spoken too loudly. Other times, you’d laugh—a deep, joyful laugh that rose above the hardships you’d endured.

You guarded those stories as if they were family heirlooms, passing them down in pieces, trusting that one day they would be gathered, polished, and placed where they could be seen and remembered.

Today, they are. Between these pages, Nana’s voice lives on, her resilience and grace shining through. And woven into every chapter is you—your strength, your humor, your unshakable belief in the power of family.

This book is my love letter to both of you. To the courage that saw you through the hardest of days. To the quiet determination that refused to let circumstances define you. To the legacy of love and laughter that shaped who I am.

Today, the world meets Nana. And in doing so, they meet you, too.

Happy birthday, Mom. I hope you can feel our love from here to heaven (Scott, Beth & Eric).
