As Thanksgiving approaches, my heart fills with gratitude for my greatest blessings—my family. Scott, Eric, and Stephanie bring so much joy and meaning to my days, and I’m especially thankful for the times when we can all come together under one roof again. There’s something sacred about gathering around the table, breaking bread, and sharing laughter that stretches late into the evening.
Through the years, we’ve built traditions that have become the heartbeat of our holidays—favorite dishes passed down, cozy corners filled with conversation, and the familiar hum of togetherness. This year, I’m especially excited to create a few new memories: attending the theater together, trimming the tree side by side, and taking long walks in nature to soak in the beauty of the season. Maybe we’ll even try a new restaurant or two, because adventure and curiosity have always been part of our family spirit.
Of course, it wouldn’t be Thanksgiving without a little friendly competition—our Scrabble board ready for battle, laughter spilling across the room. And as tradition holds, a new whimsical family game: dreaming up what we’d do if we won the lottery. The rules? Half of the winnings must be shared with a favorite charity. The stories and ideas that follow always reveal so much heart—our hopes, values, and the ways we’d give back if blessed with more than enough.
As we gather this year, I’m mindful of how much we already have—love, laughter, health, and the simple joy of being together. Gratitude, after all, isn’t about abundance in things, but abundance in spirit.
“Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever.” — Psalm 107:1
Wishing everyone a Thanksgiving filled with grace, gratitude, and the warmth of family traditions—old and new.
