Launch Gratitude

Grateful hardly feels like a big enough word after the fabulous launch of The Matriarch’s Legacy last week.

This special day would not have been possible without the generosity and support of Holy Grounds Coffee House and its owners, Suellen & Chromer— people who continually pour love back into this community. Thank you again for opening your doors to me, my readers, friends, and family. Your kindness created the perfect place for stories and connection to flourish.

Seeing familiar faces alongside new friends was truly overwhelming in the best possible way. To stand before all of you and introduce a book I poured my heart into over what feels like a lifetime was something I will never forget.

For years, these stories lived quietly inside me — carried in family memories, fragments of conversations, whispered moments, and pieces of history that could have easily been forgotten with time. Now, watching readers hold this story in their hands and connect with it so deeply has been one of the greatest honors of my life.

I cannot thank each of you enough for showing up, encouraging me, and reminding me why stories matter. Your support keeps the journey blazing forward and gives me the courage to continue writing the stories carried inside of me.

The launch may be behind us, but this journey is only beginning.
